{"id":1290,"date":"2012-05-07T02:15:21","date_gmt":"2012-05-07T06:15:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/canadianvisa.com\/news\/?p=1290"},"modified":"2018-03-08T23:28:08","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T04:28:08","slug":"canada-set-to-fast-track-foreign-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/canadianvisa.com\/news\/canada-set-to-fast-track-foreign-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada set to fast track foreign workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en--><\/p>\n<h1>Canada set to fast track foreign workers<\/h1>\n<p>The Canadian government is making it easier for employers to bring in temporary foreign workers.<\/p>\n<p>Human Resources Minister Diane Finley has said that the changes being made by the federal government to the temporary foreign worker program will make it more efficient and responsive to Canada&#8217;s labour market needs.<\/p>\n<p>Employers wanting to hire foreign workers must apply in most cases for what is called a labour market opinion, which assesses how those workers would potentially affect Canadian jobs.
