Canada gains immigration and foreign students at the expense of the United States. According to recent research, Canada’s startup visa policy has encouraged immigrants in the United States to relocate there. This comes after reports that the 10,000-applicant quota for Canada’s programme to lure H-1B visa holders to the nation was achieved in less than 48 hours in July 2023.
According to a recent study by Saerom Lee and Britta Glennon of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, “an increasing number of countries have introduced immigration policies that provide visas to skilled entrepreneurs to spur entrepreneurship and economic growth.”
